I was so excited to get this one completed! (Took it to Illinois.) This quilt my husband is mad that I am giving it to my nephew Keegan, he is now 16!! This was my first quilt in a show!! I didn't place but it was a lot of fun to see it displayed!! I hope that when I give it to him he likes it...that part always makes me nervous!

Mariner's Compass
This quilt I made for Kenzie my 14yr old sister-in-law. When I showed it to her she said "It's pretty much baller." I am pretty sure that is a good thing!? I decided to leave this one circle, I think it looks better.

Trip to Illionis.
On a recent trip to see my sister in law, I made time to sneak in a few stops into stores. I was able to control myself on purchasing random stuff. It really helped when one of the shops gave me a list of stores involved in the shop hop that is currently going on there. This will also help on my next trips down there, enabling me to plot and plan my attack as we make our way to our destination. I ended up purchasing 5 fat quarters and a pattern to go with it on our way home. Thanks to the hubby for making the pit stop.

Butterfly Quilt
I have just finished piecing my first Butterfly quilt together! Adding it to the line of items to be layered then hand-quilted by yours truly. Right now I am working on hand-quilting my second quilt I ever pieced together. I am hoping to get it finished by the end of the month and seems how today is a lazy day around the house fingers crossed that it is possible! As soon as my battery charges I will be taking and posting pictures of my quilts so far. More from me soon!
